From an album of calligraphies made for Shah Jahan, builder of the Taj Mahal and the fifth Mughal Emperor in India from 1628 until 1658.  He was the grandson of the legendary Akbar the Great, and like all of the previous Emperors, Shah Jahan was a dedicated patron of the arts.
